Your state decides. Prometric's Nurse Aide Written Test, sixty multiple-choice questions in ninety minutes, is used in Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, New York, Oklahoma and Texas. Credentia's NNAAP Written Examination, seventy questions with ten unscored, in two hours, is used in Alabama, Alaska, California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Georgia, Guam, Iowa, Maryland, the Northern Mariana Islands, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, the US Virgin Islands, Virginia and Washington. Alabama lets you choose either. Other states use Headmaster (D&S) or their own test; the knowledge is the same. Your state's candidate handbook has the exact rules.

Yes. The sixty questions follow Prometric's five areas and weights, and on the NNAAP the same knowledge sits under Physical Care Skills, Psychosocial Care Skills and the Role of the Nurse Aide.

The real exams allow about ninety seconds a question or more, so treat the tests as recall practice rather than pacing practice. Pause the video whenever you need longer.
