How the 72 practice exams in the Banclyt library are built, and why they run against a faster clock than the real thing.
The clock
15 seconds against a minute or more.
You can know an answer and still lose the question to the clock. Most candidates who run out of time are not slow readers; they second-guess answers they already knew.
Drilling at a fraction of the real allowance removes that habit. The goal is not to rush on test day. It is to arrive with so much time in hand that the real clock stops being a factor.
Principles
Six rules every exam follows.

Full length, every time
A practice exam is only useful if it has the real exam's shape. Every Banclyt exam runs the full question count (120 for the NHA CPT, 130 for the Series 65, 85 for the RBT, 60 for the CNA, 50 for the ATI TEAS 7) in one sitting, because fatigue and focus in the last third are part of what gets tested.

Mapped to the real weights
The NHA CPT, Series 65, CNA and ATI TEAS 7 exams distribute their questions across content domains in the same proportions the exam owner publishes. A domain worth 30% of the real exam is 30% of ours, so your tally predicts where points are actually lost. The RBT exams mix the domains in one run, and the exam page gives each domain's weight to study against.

A faster clock than the exam
Each question is on screen for 15 seconds, well under the real allowance. At that pace there is no time to reason from scratch, so a correct answer means the knowledge is automatic. Automatic answers survive test-day pressure; half-remembered ones do not.

Every answer explained
The correct answer is shown right after each question with the reasoning behind it, including why the tempting wrong options are wrong. A missed question is only worth something if you learn what the trap was.

Scored by domain, not by total
A total score tells you whether you would pass. A domain tally tells you what to study next. Every exam page shows the domain weights, and the NHA CPT, Series 65, CNA and ATI TEAS 7 videos are chaptered by domain so you can go straight back to a weak section.

Original questions only
Real exam items are confidential and we do not use them. Every question is written to the published content outline. We are not affiliated with any exam owner, and we say so on every page.
Accuracy
How we handle exam facts.
Question counts, time limits, passing scores and domain weights on this site come from the exam owners' published materials. Each exam page lists the numbers we use, and the footer shows when they were last reviewed.
Exam owners change their outlines, fees and policies. Always confirm the details with the exam owner before you book, and tell us at hello@banclyt.com if you spot something out of date.
